Your Newborn Photography Experience

Every family is unique, and every newborn session is designed to reflect that. Our aim is to create a calm, welcoming experience where timeless portraits can unfold naturally, capturing the beauty of these first precious days without rush or pressure.

Planning Your Session

We recommend booking your newborn session while you are still expecting — ideally between 12 and 20 weeks into your pregnancy. Once your booking is confirmed, we will reserve a flexible date based on your due date, with adjustments made as needed once your baby arrives.

Newborn sessions are typically held when your baby is between 5 and 14 days old, when they are naturally sleepy and most content for posing. However, older babies are always welcome, and sessions are gently tailored to each child’s needs on the day.

Before the Day

Prior to your session, we will guide you through a personalised preparation process. You will receive wardrobe advice, style suggestions, and a session guide to help you feel fully prepared. Our studio wardrobe is available for your use, featuring carefully curated pieces for mothers, newborns, and siblings, chosen to complement our natural, timeless aesthetic.

If you have a particular vision, colour palette, or heirloom item you would like to incorporate, we welcome those conversations and will weave your story subtly into the final imagery.

On the Day of Your Session

Sessions are held in our calm and elegant studio, designed with both comfort and safety in mind. We allow ample time — usually 2 to 3 hours — to ensure that feeds, soothing, and natural breaks are never rushed. A typical session is relaxed and unhurried, following the baby’s lead at all times.

Our approach is gentle and baby-led. We focus on natural posing that respects your child’s comfort, capturing the quiet details — tiny fingers, soft smiles, peaceful expressions — that make these first days so special.

Parents and siblings are encouraged to take part in the session if they wish. Family portraits are included and styled to feel intimate, natural, and connected, without overwhelming the newborn focus.

After Your Session

Following your session, we will carefully curate a selection of the most beautiful images, each hand-edited to preserve the soft, organic style that defines our work. Within approximately two weeks, you will be invited to view your gallery and select your preferred images and artwork options.

We offer a range of exquisite products, from fine art albums and custom-framed wall pieces to digital collections, ensuring your memories are preserved in ways that suit your home and your family’s story.
